Discuss is made by Charlie Rusk. This page explains what data is collected on getdiscuss.app and in the Discuss iPhone app.

The website (getdiscuss.app)

Page views are counted using Vercel Web Analytics. Vercel does not set cookies and does not collect anything that identifies you personally. The count is used to know if anyone is reading the site.

If you email, the email is read.

That's everything.

The iPhone app (Discuss)

The app collects nothing. It does not send any data off your phone. It has no account system. It does not connect to a server. It shuffles six questions and shows them to you.

Third parties

• Vercel, who hosts the website and provides the page-view count.
• Apple, who runs the App Store and may report anonymous install counts. Individual users are not identifiable.
